Core Training, Part 2: Organizing

The grievance process has pitfalls; it can be long and drawn out, and sometimes unfair practices (such as respect and dignity) aren’t covered by the grievance process at all. Organizing can establish a better balance of power between the boss and workers, secure speedier grievance victories, better solutions to workplace problems, and expand rights at work beyond the contract. This workshop will focus on how to creatively win at work by organizing – sometimes even without filing a grievance. Ideal for ARs, CRs, and site organizers. Lunch will be provided.
