The SDEA and SDUSD bargaining teams have reached an agreement on the provision of reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities (including being at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19) that also recognizes that some of us may not have a disability or be at high risk ourselves but may be a caregiver for someone at high risk and may experience a hardship due to COVID-19 as a result.
Please review the Reasonable Accommodations Tentative Agreement and the SDUSD Administrative Circular on ADA Accommodations.
SDEA staff and leadership will hold informational meetings on the ADA Accommodations process soon. Stay tuned!
